Analysis of these problems requires in-depth training and experience, as close proximity to the contamination source can lead to skin and eye infections or respiratory illness from breathing airborne toxins.

The bacteriological cleanup process is often incorrectly perceived as simple and straightforward. However, the residual effects of problems with bacteria can be extensive and widespread, and companies that try to resolve these issues on their own may inadvertently endanger their employees and damage the environment. INDOOR AIR quality (IAQ)

The EPA, OSHA, the National Institute for Occupational and Safety Health (NIOSH), and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) have established air quality standards, as well as exposure guidelines for numerous chemicals and other pollutants such as dust mites and pet dander. Serious problems can result when the air environment is contaminated, especially for children, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems.

A great many environmental factors contribute to indoor air quality issues, so we consider it extremely important to hold interviews with our clients to try to determine what sorts of contaminants may be circulating in the air. We document information regarding allergic-type responses (such as eye, ear, and nose irritation, rashes, headaches, chronic symptoms) and other responses to air irritants. In addition, we perform a detailed inspection and appropriate sampling to uncover the source of the problem and determine the right course of action.
